Mechanical Advantage Drop Set Program
Shredded Steel
Push past failure. Keep the weight. Change your leverage.
Instead of reducing the weight when a set gets hard, you strategically change your position or grip to shift the leverage in your favor — while keeping the same load. That’s the mechanical advantage drop set method, and it’s the engine behind this entire program.

Total-body program
Push past failure.
Build real strength.
This is a total-body program — built strength and conditioning across your whole physique, not an isolated muscle-group program, while helping you drop body fat along the way.

How a mechanical advantage drop set actually works
- Choose ONE weight for the whole drop set — a weight you could lift 12–15 reps with (no less than 12, no more than 15) if doing it fresh in your weakest (hardest-leverage) grip, stance, or position.
- Start in that weakest position and perform only 6–8 reps — well short of the 12–15 you could actually do there. This is intentional.
- Transition to the next position in 10–20 seconds — this is movement time, not rest.
- Perform as many reps as possible (AMRAP) in that second position, then continue through each remaining position, always the same weight, always to max reps, until true failure hits on your final, strongest-leverage position.
- This intermediate-tier program uses 3 positions per drop set (the advanced tier, Elite Edge, uses 4).
- Total reps across all positions typically land well past your normal 12–15 rep max — often in the low-to-high 20s, sometimes approaching 30. That extra volume under long continuous time-under-tension is the entire point.
What’s inside stays inside
The exact exercises, grips, stances, and position sequences are revealed once you subscribe. If a particular position or movement doesn’t work for your body or equipment access, a substitution is always provided so you’re never stuck.

Why this works
01
Changing the angle, grip, or stance mid-set lets you recruit and fully fatigue muscle fibers within that muscle group that a single fixed position never reaches — effectively fully fatiguing the whole muscle group in one continuous set and forcing it to adapt.
02
Because you’re accumulating roughly double your normal rep range in one uninterrupted block, you build real muscular endurance, drive muscle growth through the extra recruitment, and burn more calories/body fat from the added total work.
03
It’s a form of progressive overload that doesn’t require adding weight week to week — you progress by adding sets and/or trimming rest time instead.

Set structure & progression across the program
- Between sets, expect roughly a 10% weight drop-off — e.g., 200 lb on set one becomes about 180 lb on set two.
- You keep adding sets only as long as you can do so within a 20% total drop-off from your starting weight.
- Rest between sets is typically 2–3 minutes, trimmed by up to about 30 seconds partway through the program to force faster recovery and further muscle recruitment.
- Set volume is staged across the program rather than fixed — for example, weeks 1–2 at 3 sets, weeks 3–4 at 4 sets, weeks 5–6 at 5 sets — building tolerance and fatigue resistance progressively.

What you’ll experience
01
Muscular Endurance Under Load
Push through extended time-under-tension sets that go well past a normal rep range — not quick, ballistic bursts, but sustained, grinding effort that builds real strength and staying power.
02
Accelerated Fat Loss
Advanced HIIT protocols and metabolic stress-inducing training intensify fat burning.
03
Serious Muscle Growth
Build lean, functional muscle across your entire physique.
04
Mental Toughness
Conquer workouts that push past your comfort zone and build discipline that carries into everything else you do.
Who this is for
This program is built for men who already have a solid fitness foundation and are ready to push their limits with challenging, high-intensity training. If you’re brand new to lifting, start with Prime Start or Delta Protocol first — this is not a beginner program.
How the program works
3–6 Month Undulating Periodization
The program undulates back and forth between these two phases across the full 3–6 month cycle — never the same stimulus for too long, so your body keeps adapting instead of plateauing.
Phase 1 — Mechanical Advantage Drop Set Block
High-volume training using the 3-position drop-set method above to maximize muscle activation and drive rapid gains.
Phase 2 — Conventional Strength Block
Heavier weights, lower volume, more traditional strength-focused training to consolidate and build on Phase 1’s gains.
